# Retime vs Mirror

The clearest difference is monetization model: Mirror at freemium against Retime's subscription. Mirror also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Retime sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Mirror sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Retime ships an update every 2 months, Mirror every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
