# Hot Takes! vs SpinLingo

The clearest difference is update cadence: SpinLingo at every 4 days against Hot Takes!'s every 2 weeks. SpinLingo also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hot Takes! sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and SpinLingo sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hot Takes! ships an update every 2 weeks, SpinLingo every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
