# Bullet Flow vs JotBox

The clearest difference is update cadence: JotBox at every 5 weeks against Bullet Flow's every 5 months. Bullet Flow's advantage is iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bullet Flow sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and JotBox sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bullet Flow ships an update every 5 months, JotBox every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
