# Total Steps vs Ambryx

The clearest difference is update cadence: Total Steps at weekly against Ambryx's monthly. Ambryx's advantage is iOS requirement (18.6 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Total Steps sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Ambryx sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
