# NoteDay vs Countdown

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Countdown at none against NoteDay's 4. Countdown also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 8 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NoteDay sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Countdown asks for nothing beyond the download.

NoteDay ships an update every 8 months, Countdown every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
