# YChat vs Callable

The clearest difference is ads: Callable at none against YChat's shown. YChat's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

YChat ships an update every 3 days, Callable every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
