# Rivex vs YearMap

The clearest difference is update cadence: YearMap at every 2 days against Rivex's every 2 months. YearMap also leads on device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rivex sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and YearMap sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rivex ships an update every 2 months, YearMap every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
