# GlowBack vs OffGrid Dose

The clearest difference is ads: OffGrid Dose at none against GlowBack's shown. OffGrid Dose also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). GlowBack's advantage is ratings volume (117 vs 1) and update cadence (every 11 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GlowBack sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and OffGrid Dose sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OffGrid Dose holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GlowBack has 117 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

GlowBack ships an update every 11 days, OffGrid Dose every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
