# GlowBack vs Steady

The clearest difference is review sentiment: GlowBack at 75% against Steady's 33%. GlowBack also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (116 vs 5). Steady's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GlowBack sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and Steady sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GlowBack holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GlowBack has 116 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 75% of GlowBack's written reviews are positive against 33% of Steady's.

GlowBack ships an update every 9 days, Steady every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
