# Boat Tracker + vs Underplane

The clearest difference is update cadence: Underplane at every 5 days against Boat Tracker +'s every 3 weeks. Boat Tracker +'s advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Boat Tracker + sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Underplane sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Boat Tracker + ships an update every 3 weeks, Underplane every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
