# Launch Radar vs Carnitrix

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Carnitrix at 75% against Launch Radar's 0%. Carnitrix also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 8 days) and device support (4 vs 2). Launch Radar's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and rating (4.3 vs 3.8). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Launch Radar sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and Carnitrix sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Launch Radar holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 8 and 5 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Launch Radar's written reviews are positive against 75% of Carnitrix's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Launch Radar ships an update every 8 days, Carnitrix every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
