# Smart Science vs MathZap

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Smart Science at 13.0 against MathZap's 15.1. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smart Science sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and MathZap sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
