# Daimon vs MindMail

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: MindMail at none against Daimon's 7. MindMail also leads on ads (none vs shown). Daimon's advantage is ratings volume (80K vs 11) and rating (4.9 vs 4.6). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Daimon sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. MindMail asks for nothing beyond the download.

Daimon holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Daimon has 80K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 92% of Daimon's written reviews are positive against 100% of MindMail's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Daimon ships an update every 9 days, MindMail weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
