# Welm vs Tally

The clearest difference is monetization model: Tally at free against Welm's free with in-app purchases. Welm's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 6 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Welm sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Tally sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Welm holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 5 respectively.

Welm ships an update every 10 days, Tally every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
