# Gather CCG vs Hexlands

The clearest difference is update cadence: Gather CCG at every 5 days against Hexlands's every 11 days. Gather CCG also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gather CCG sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Hexlands sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Gather CCG ships an update every 5 days, Hexlands every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
