# Fake Call vs EscapeMate

The clearest difference is rating: EscapeMate at 5.0 against Fake Call's 4.3. Fake Call's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (138 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fake Call sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and EscapeMate sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

EscapeMate holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fake Call has 138 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Fake Call ships an update fortnightly, EscapeMate every 8 days. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
