# YALLA vs SamaCoach

The clearest difference is rating: SamaCoach at 5.0 against YALLA's 1.5. YALLA's advantage is ratings volume (164 vs 2) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SamaCoach holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: YALLA has 164 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

YALLA ships an update every 2 weeks, SamaCoach monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
