# SoulLink vs GemTavern

The clearest difference is ratings volume: SoulLink at 117 against GemTavern's 6. SoulLink also leads on review sentiment (76% vs 67%) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SoulLink sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and GemTavern sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for SoulLink against 4.5 for GemTavern. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SoulLink has 117 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 76% of SoulLink's written reviews are positive against 67% of GemTavern's.

SoulLink ships an update every 10 days, GemTavern every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
