# MP3 Converter vs SMS Forwarder

The clearest difference is rating: MP3 Converter at 5.0 against SMS Forwarder's 4.6. SMS Forwarder's advantage is ratings volume (32 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MP3 Converter sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and SMS Forwarder sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MP3 Converter holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SMS Forwarder has 32 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MP3 Converter ships an update weekly, SMS Forwarder every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
