# Bite vs CalNote

The clearest difference is update cadence: CalNote at every 11 days against Bite's every 2 months. CalNote also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.5). Bite's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bite sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and CalNote sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $3.19 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bite ships an update every 2 months, CalNote every 11 days. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
