# Coax vs Glassy Comics

The clearest difference is rating: Glassy Comics at 4.9 against Coax's 4.2. Coax's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (41 vs 8). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Coax sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Glassy Comics sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Glassy Comics holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Coax has 41 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 77% of Coax's written reviews are positive against 80% of Glassy Comics's.

Coax ships an update weekly, Glassy Comics every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
