# AI Note Taker vs PDF Scanner

The clearest difference is ads: PDF Scanner at none against AI Note Taker's shown. PDF Scanner also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). AI Note Taker's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.6) and ratings volume (215 vs 15). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Note Taker sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and PDF Scanner sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
