# Countdown Widget Customizer vs LocaNotify

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Countdown Widget Customizer at none against LocaNotify's 1. LocaNotify's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LocaNotify sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Countdown Widget Customizer asks for nothing beyond the download.

Countdown Widget Customizer ships an update every 3 months, LocaNotify every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
