# CFB Simulator vs Magnates

The clearest difference is ads: CFB Simulator at none against Magnates's shown. CFB Simulator also leads on ratings volume (910 vs 4) and update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). Magnates's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 81%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CFB Simulator sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Magnates sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Magnates holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CFB Simulator has 910 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 81% of CFB Simulator's written reviews are positive against 100% of Magnates's.

CFB Simulator ships an update every 4 days, Magnates fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 16, 2026.
