# StepzSync vs Ambryx

The clearest difference is ads: Ambryx at none against StepzSync's shown. StepzSync's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StepzSync sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Ambryx sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StepzSync ships an update weekly, Ambryx monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
