# StepzSync vs Pedometer

The clearest difference is update cadence: StepzSync at weekly against Pedometer's every 2 months. StepzSync also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StepzSync sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Pedometer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StepzSync ships an update weekly, Pedometer every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
