# CDL Prep Practice Test vs CDL Prep Pro

CDL Prep Practice Test and CDL Prep Pro are too close to call on the numbers: across 6 compared parameters — price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.

Both are free to download. CDL Prep Practice Test sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per 7 days and CDL Prep Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CDL Prep Practice Test ships an update every 3 days, CDL Prep Pro every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
