# CDL Prep Practice Test vs CDL Prep

The clearest difference is update cadence: CDL Prep Practice Test at every 3 days against CDL Prep's every 2 months. CDL Prep Practice Test also leads on ratings volume (2.5K vs 7). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CDL Prep Practice Test sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per 7 days and CDL Prep sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
