# SOSitter vs Contracted

SOSitter and Contracted both sit at 5.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of SOSitter's written reviews are positive against 62% of Contracted's. SOSitter also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Contracted's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 16) and chart position (#88 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SOSitter holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Contracted has 1.1K ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of SOSitter's written reviews are positive against 62% of Contracted's.

SOSitter ships an update every 2 weeks, Contracted weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
