# CELPIP Prep Practice vs CELPIP Speaking

The clearest difference is rating: CELPIP Speaking at 5.0 against CELPIP Prep Practice's 4.7. CELPIP Speaking also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17). CELPIP Prep Practice's advantage is ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CELPIP Prep Practice sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and CELPIP Speaking sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CELPIP Speaking holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CELPIP Prep Practice has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
