# StepForce vs Stark

The clearest difference is ads: Stark at none against StepForce's shown. StepForce's advantage is iOS requirement (18.5 vs 26.2). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StepForce sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Stark sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StepForce ships an update fortnightly, Stark every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 19, 2026 respectively.
