# StepForce vs Simply Step

The clearest difference is ads: Simply Step at none against StepForce's shown. On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StepForce sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Simply Step sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StepForce ships an update fortnightly, Simply Step every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
