# Termix vs Helmrig Shell

The clearest difference is update cadence: Helmrig Shell at every 2 weeks against Termix's monthly. Termix's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Termix ships an update monthly, Helmrig Shell every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
