# FotoPilot vs CutUGC

The clearest difference is monetization model: FotoPilot at freemium against CutUGC's subscription. FotoPilot also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and review sentiment (100% vs 84%). CutUGC's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks) and ratings volume (77 vs 4). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FotoPilot sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and CutUGC sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FotoPilot holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CutUGC has 77 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of FotoPilot's written reviews are positive against 84% of CutUGC's.

FotoPilot ships an update every 2 weeks, CutUGC every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
