# Inkiostro vs Artificial PDF

The clearest difference is rating: Inkiostro at 3.2 against Artificial PDF's 1.0. Inkiostro also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 weeks) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). Artificial PDF's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Inkiostro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Artificial PDF sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Inkiostro holds the better App Store score, 3.2 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Inkiostro has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
