# Inkiostro vs Day

The clearest difference is ads: Inkiostro at none against Day's shown. Inkiostro also leads on device support (3 vs 1). Day's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly). On price, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Inkiostro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Day sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Inkiostro ships an update weekly, Day every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 13, 2026.
