# Inkiostro vs Wayscript

The clearest difference is update cadence: Wayscript at every 3 days against Inkiostro's weekly. Wayscript also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Inkiostro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Wayscript sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Inkiostro ships an update weekly, Wayscript every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and September 11, 2026 respectively.
