# Inkiostro vs ObGitSync

The clearest difference is ads: Inkiostro at none against ObGitSync's shown. Inkiostro also leads on iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). ObGitSync's advantage is update cadence (daily vs weekly). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Inkiostro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ObGitSync sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Inkiostro ships an update weekly, ObGitSync daily. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
