# Inkiostro vs Bear Notes

The clearest difference is update cadence: Bear Notes at every 2 days against Inkiostro's weekly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Inkiostro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Bear Notes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Inkiostro ships an update weekly, Bear Notes every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
