# Inkiostro vs Kapy Notes

The clearest difference is update cadence: Kapy Notes at daily against Inkiostro's every 6 days. Kapy Notes also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Inkiostro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Kapy Notes sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Inkiostro ships an update every 6 days, Kapy Notes daily. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
