# Thinky vs IQ Test

The clearest difference is rating: IQ Test at 4.7 against Thinky's 4.2. IQ Test also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 10 days) and ratings volume (31 vs 5). Thinky's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Thinky sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and IQ Test sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

IQ Test holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IQ Test has 31 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Thinky ships an update every 10 days, IQ Test every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
