# EeeDiary vs avec.

The clearest difference is rating: avec. at 5.0 against EeeDiary's 3.0. avec. also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EeeDiary sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and avec. sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

avec. holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: avec. has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

EeeDiary ships an update every 2 weeks, avec. every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
