# DeFlock.me vs Final Fantasy Map

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: DeFlock.me at none against Final Fantasy Map's 1. DeFlock.me also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (273 vs 6). Final Fantasy Map's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Final Fantasy Map sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. DeFlock.me asks for nothing beyond the download.

DeFlock.me holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DeFlock.me has 273 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DeFlock.me ships an update fortnightly, Final Fantasy Map every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
