# PairDrop vs hearsay

The clearest difference is ads: hearsay at none against PairDrop's shown. PairDrop's advantage is iOS requirement (15.6 vs 26.2). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PairDrop sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per 7 days and hearsay sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
