# itoshi vs AppCap.ai

The clearest difference is rating: AppCap.ai at 5.0 against itoshi's 4.0. AppCap.ai also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). itoshi's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (403 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. itoshi sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and AppCap.ai sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AppCap.ai holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: itoshi has 403 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

itoshi ships an update every 4 days, AppCap.ai every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
