# Video Player vs ScriptCam

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Video Player at 93% against ScriptCam's 50%. Video Player also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Video Player sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ScriptCam sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
