# StoryRush vs MoodDiary

The clearest difference is update cadence: MoodDiary at every 3 days against StoryRush's every 4 weeks. StoryRush's advantage is iOS requirement (14 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StoryRush sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per 7 days and MoodDiary sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StoryRush ships an update every 4 weeks, MoodDiary every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
