# FantriX vs 40

The clearest difference is update cadence: 40 at fortnightly against FantriX's every 3 months. FantriX's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FantriX sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and 40 sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FantriX ships an update every 3 months, 40 fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
