# CatPaws vs Modus

The clearest difference is update cadence: CatPaws at every 6 days against Modus's every 6 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CatPaws sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Modus sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CatPaws ships an update every 6 days, Modus every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
