# AWS Cloud Practitioner vs CLF

The clearest difference is update cadence: CLF at weekly against AWS Cloud Practitioner's every 3 months. CLF also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AWS Cloud Practitioner sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and CLF sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AWS Cloud Practitioner ships an update every 3 months, CLF weekly. Both last shipped on October 11, 2026.
